Kilburn is a suburb located north of Adelaide. The suburb borders Blair Athol, Gepps Cross, Wingfield, Regency Park and Prospect. Kilburn shares the same postcode as Blair Athol which is 5084.

Kilburn is run by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield council. The council has one of its main offices located in Enfield. The council is currently planning to rebuild parts of Kilburn that were struck by vandals. The council is also currently planning on creating new parks, a new primary school and several new homes.

Kilburn has two primary schools. Kilburn Primary is located just off Churchill Road, and St Brigids Primary School is a private school located on Le Hunte St. Both cater to year levels Reception to 7.

Kilburn is only a 10 - 15 minute drive from the CBD (Central Business District). Kilburn is well-serviced by public transport. The 182 busline passes through Kilburn and Blair Athol on Prospect Road. Kilburn train station, located on Railway Tce, has services that go to and from the city.
