King Faisal University

King Faisal University is a public university in AlHasa, Saudi Arabia founded in 1975. It is most famous for its medical programme, although engineering and other majors are offered as well. It is one of the toughest two Saudi universities to get into, the other being the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
Its teaching hospital, the King Fahd University Hospital, is in Khobar, although a newer hospital is currently under construction near the main campus of the university.
