[edit] Hammer and Sickle
This had been painted over when I was there in 2001, so its painting over can hardly have been a factor in Mayhew's resignation as suggested.

[edit] Alumni
Updated the alumni category page with a few more names - should the other Oxbridge college pages be encouraged to create their own category pages in this way?
- That's up to them, I think. Not everyone in this category was a student, though. Probably a more accurate category name would be 'Former members of' but maybe 'Alumni of' would also do. I'm not planning on changing it though. Js229 17:13, 11 August 2005 (UTC)
The Time Magazine 100 list is described as "In a somewhat Americanocentric list of 100 names". This hardly is NPOV, and does not have any real bearing on Kings College. I am removing for bias--the section is more direct without it. Clark, Austin Texas 19 June 2006
[edit] Postcode
and is the only Oxbridge College to have "1ST" in its postal code.
I doubt any colleges other than Sidney have "3HU" in their postcodes, but so what? Marnanel 19:42, 22 Feb 2004 (UTC)
- Agreed, removed. Pete/Pcb21 (talk) 20:05, 22 Feb 2004 (UTC)
- In fairness, 3HU isn't meaningful on its own, whereas 1st is... Mark Williamson 13:50, 12 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Alumni: Weird
No, the alumni of King's aren't (particularly!) weird, but this seems strange:
Prime Ministers, Archbishops, and David Baddiel, the comedian and composer of a chart topping football anthem."
Baddiel hardly compares in that sentence! Ben davison 19:31, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Stranglers at May Ball
The down-scaling [May ball to June event] followed a huge invasion of crashers over the backs when the Stranglers played at the last King's ball.
Does anyone actually have evidence to back this claim up? I have seen/heard vague rumours saying both yes and no, but no hard evidence. Colin S 23:49, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
