[edit] History
The station's original moniker was "Big Eazy 102.9" and later "Old School 102.9", but in 2004 it modified its format by adding Adult R&B product to its playlist. It also reimaged itself as "102.9, Old School & Today's R&B" to reflect the changes -- and compete with WYLD and hip hop station WQUE.
KMEZ is the New Orleans home of the nationally syndicated Love, Lust and Lies with Michael Baisden Show in the afternoons.
