This article is becoming too much of a dumping ground. I recommend that we get rid of any items that are non-notable (meaning that they don't already have an article on Wikipedia that mentions the Templars), include more outside commentary about the impact of the Templars on popular culture (for example, mention some of the "Temple" locations in England), and work on a more standardized format for the remaining list elements. Nah, I'd say to protect it only if it got to the point of some type of edit war. But right now it seems to be suffering more from apathy than controversy. My own plan was to get the main Knights Templar article cleaned up first, to the point of FA status, and then use it as the hub from which to gradually cleanup the "spoke" articles such as this one. But if you want to roll up your sleeves and start on this one now, I say full steam ahead! :) --Elonka 22:07, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
