Kohyasan Tokyo Betsuin

Kohyasan Tokyo Betsuin (高野山東京別院) is the temple which exists at Minato Ward Takanawa 3-15-18 (on the Tsuki no Misaki, facing as Nihonenoki dori ). The persuasion is Koyamsan Shingon Sect (高野山真言宗). The principal image is Kobodaishi (弘法大師). Takanawa police station (高輪警察署) exists next.
History In Keicho (慶長) era (1596-615), it established in Asakusa Nichirinn ji (日輪寺) as the Edo duty place of Kohyasan's learning priest (高野山学侶方). In Meireki (明暦) first year (1655), The temple was bestow the land in Nihon enoki (二本榎) at shiba by Shogunate, then complete as Kohyasan Edo zaibansho Kohyaji (高野山江戸在番所高野寺).
