[edit] NPOV
Neutral point of view: While the current version of this article expresses the LDS Church's point of view accurately, the non-Mormon viewpoint is entirely ignored: that Korihor represented the voice of reason, presented a sound argument, and Alma's only way to silence him was via the deus ex machina of striking him dumb. As the logical consistency of any religion's doctrine(s) and/or holy book(s) is central to an objective and reasonable debate about the merits of that belief system, a neutral point of view on this topic must necessarily make clear reference to the critical position.
- I don't see any POV, because there is no commentary and the text is mostly a lengthy quote and description. I would hate to see this entry ruined by any POV. If someone wants to claim Korihor's ideas for themselves, pro- or con-, that would consist of POV. Perhaps you should go to the anti-Mormon article and comment there, where I have been accused of having an anti-Mormon POV because my edits don't service a Mormon POV. They actually told me that. Thankyou for the roundabout compliment to my lack of bias anyway. Good luck. Anon166 00:57, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- Be bold, poster. Change it, using a neutral-sounding voice, and see if it makes it past the evolution of the next 300 edits... --Mrcolj 23:06, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
