Krimml

Krimml is a municipality in the federal state of Salzburg, Austria, in the Pinzgau region. It is located at , 54 km from the administrative center of the district, Zell am See. Krimml is situated at an elevation of 1,067 m above sea level, with a population of 886 (2001).
The source of the Salzach river is located north of Krimml, at an elevation of 2,300 m above sea level. Krimml is well known for the Krimml Falls. With a total drop of 380 m these waterfalls are among Europe's highest.
