Krueger Middle School is located in San Antonio. It is part of North East Independent School District. Serving grades six, seven, and eight, Krueger Middle School was honored during the 2005-2006 school year by the Texas Education Agency as a Recognized School. Two magnet school programs are housed at the Krueger campus, see below. It is located in the Roosevelt area.

Interactive Media Applications (iMAK) at Krueger Middle School
Interactive Media Applications at Krueger is a magnet school program devoted to student multimedia creations and collaborative learning projects. The program began in the 2005- 2006 school year for sixth-graders and will expand to seventh and eighth-graders over the next two years. Like K-SAT, iMAK is based at Krueger Middle School. The program’s key focus is the extensive use of interactive media technologies such as, but not limited to, the following: video production, short film creation, digital photography, web publication, computer animation. iMAK students will integrate the theory, practice and application of interactive media into their core subjects, such as math, English and social studies. iMAK uses a lottery system for student selection. iMAK now has an online radio station called "Hip Hop Hit'z"made by Mingo Molina and Josh Townsend, who's alias is Pikachu.

Krueger School of Applied Technologies (K-SAT) is a district-wide aerospace magnet school program for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders. The program offers unique classes such as Robotics and Measurement, Applied Rocketry and Aviation, Applied Radio/Satellite Communication, and Applied Aerospace Studies. Launches for rockets and planes created by the students are held at school and Kingsbury. The K-SAT program incorporates all academic subjects into its set of courses.

- School Fundraiser: Done usually around late-august to mid-September
- Red Ribbon Week: A week-long drug-free program, usually done in mid to late October. Starting this year, the art students have made posters to hang up around the school. Some had classic slogans, like "Be drug free if you want to hang with me" and "Too cool for drugs". Others had some rather original quotes, like "When you do drugs... all your base are belong to us". Also, awareness bracelets are given out, which are a red-orange color, with the words "Live Drug Free" written on it. There are also daily contests during the week. The 2006-2007 school year featured Crazy Sunglasses day, Crazy Tie day, Crazy Slippers day, Crazy Hat day, and Crazy socks day, in the respective order. Prizes are given to the top students in the categories. THere are also contests done in media, such as paintings, drawings, video skits, literature, "news broadcasts","public advisories", and poetry.

[edit] Renovation
Starting in 2005, Krueger Middle school began undergoing some new improved systems and renovations. While most additions were added during winter and summer breaks, some are still ongoing:
- 2005 Summer
- Portables moved to the back of the school, former location closed and fenced off, first with wooden boards.
- Old Wooden and Metal Auditorium Seats were removed. Some were broken, and marked with graffiti.
- 2005-2006 School Year
- Big pile of rocks was added.
- Construction began on the new science wing, on top of the rocks.
- Seats were replaced with new cushioned fabric and plastic seats. These ones are considerably softer.
- New news broadcast system was added; the tradional intercom was replaced with announcements. These were live broadcasts from the library.
- 2006 Summer
- TV's were added throughout the school.
- The new science wing's exterior is nearing completion, and the inside is being furnished. The rocks were transported out, and the fence was replaced with a wire fence, allowing for progress to be seen more easily.
- 2006-2007 School Year
- After the first week or so, the newer news broadcasts began. These, produced mainly by the 7th grade iMak students, added much newer special effects. After the first few weeks in the boy's gym, they moved into a more cozy environment. The students have now added a green screen on there, to allow for the use of backgrounds. Some notable ones used were the shrek background, the planetary backgrounds (animated), the Starbucks coffee background, and the recorded "school background" which was actually a recorded video of the school that was recorded before school. There are also weather forecasts, sports reports, and short public advisories.
- the NJHS students have been doing multiple projects contributing to the renovation, like painting a new krueger logo with the text "Krueger Middle School, Home of the Falcons" around it in the cafeteria.
- Large computer upgrade
- Construction on the new building near completed, grass laid on and finishing touches being applied.

- Krueger Middle School is the only NEISD middle school to house magnet programs
- The acyronym for Krueger School of Applied Technologies, the ICAO code for the San Antonio International Airport, and the code for K SAT 12 news are the same "KSAT"
The students wear (6th)gold, (7th)white and (8th)black collared shirts with khaki bottoms and each grade name has theier own little "code-names." Twinkies, marshmallows, and Oreos.
