Kuban

Kuban (Russian: Кубань) is a geographic of southern Russia surrounding the Kuban River, on the Black Sea between the Don Steppe, Volga Delta and the Caucasus. Unofficially sometimes Krasnodar Krai is often called that, although Kuban also extends beyond the krai and accomodates Adygeya, Karachayevo-Cherkessiya and parts of Stavropol Krai.
