Hi there, about your edits in Prussia under Teutonic rule:
- Teutons weren;'t ruling Pommerania as fief. The exact wording of the treaty was that they receive it as an "alm" from Polish king, which because of being not too clear made basis for further legal disputes (for example it meant that Teutons ackonwledged, that their have no earlier legal basis - sicne they received land as "alm", then it means that they recognised that Polish kings had rights to Pomerania, and also thay they should behave properly to men who gave them the alm).
- That Wenceslaus gave Pommerania for Meissen is not disputed. However contract was not made, because Wenceslaus never
received Meissen.
- The massacre in Danzig/Gdansk is not based on stagnation in Gdansk, but on contemporary sources as well (it was brought
to papal trial by Ladislaus the Short.
My English is too bad to find proper wording, but i would be most gratefull if you will correct the informations.

[edit] Kokoda Track
Nice work on Kokoda Track. Any change of finding a good public domain picture? Crown copyright lasts 50 years in Australia so everything from the battle should now be public domain. Gdr 11:45, 2004 Oct 25 (UTC)
- You can see at [1] that copyright lasts for 50 years from the making for "Artistic works (other than engravings and other prints) in which the Crown owns copyright". If the artist was an official war artist the the Crown will own the copyright and if made before 1954 then it has expired. It wouldn't do any harm to ask the AWM for details of the copyright for the painting. Gdr 00:17, 2004 Oct 26 (UTC)
