Kung-fu chess
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kung-fu chess is a chess variant without turns. It is a Real-time strategy game. Any player can move any of his pieces at any given moment. A piece must "rest" a while before it is allowed to move again. Victory is achieved when the enemy king is captured.
"Kung-Fu chess" can also be played with 1 or 3 other people at one time; the last person with a king left wins. The speeds of movement and the "rest" period can be adjusted.
[edit] Shizmoo
This game was created by Shizmoo Games; it was their first and most popular game, along with Sumo Volleyball. Kung-fu Chess was Game of the Year 2003 from Arcade Pod and Game of the Month February 2002 from Game Spot. It can be played online at Shizmoo.com, with up to 80 players online during busy hours; the most popular way to play the game is in a 4-way match. Now, Shizmoo has expanded its game archives to hits such as MiniBlast, Billard Boxing, Word Ninja, Witchword, and Club Billiards, though its most popular games are still KungFuChess (KFC) and Sumo Volleyball.
Actually the original creation site was named kungfuchess.com, Shizmoo is the constituted website on which KFC and other games now rest.

Additional rankings such as black O and black X can be awarded for 2200 rating and 2400 respectively.
