Kurdish films mainly evoke the poverty and sufferings of the Kurdish people in the Middle East. Yilmaz Guney, Bahman Qubadi , Jay Jonroy and Jano Rosebiani are among the better known Kurdish directors. The following is a list of the well-known Kurdish films:
