Kyle Hawkins

Kyle Hawkins is the head coach of the University of Missouri–Columbia men's lacrosse team and the first openly gay male coach of a prominent men's team sport at the collegiate level. In May 2006, he discussed his sexual orientation with reporters from major media outlets including the New York Daily News and MSNBC.com after having revealed to his university and team that he was gay.
