Labatt blue line
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Labatt Blue Line was a free long-distance phone service created by Labatt Brewing Company that operated between November 2002 and early spring 2003. The promotion was offered exclusively in Ontario, Canada and offered service between select cities in the province, to those 19 and older. Before making a call, subscribers to the service were played a 30 second advertisement for Labatt Blue.
Participants were required to first subscribe to the service and register individual phone numbers through a website (labattblueline.com). Calls could only be made from subscribed numbers.
The lines offering the service were often busy, echoy, or filled with static.
