Lachenaie, Quebec

Lachenaie is a town in southwestern Quebec, Canada on the Rivière des Prairies. It is located within the city of Terrebonne, and is in the Regional County Municipality of Les Moulins. Population: (2001): 21,709
Note: since June 2001, Lachenaie and La Plaine are now a part of Terrebonne.

A shopping center has recently been built in Lachenaie, turning the small town into a thriving community.
The shopping center contains stores and restaurants like:
- Home Depot
- Costco (Club Price, as some call it)
- EB Games
- Old Navy
- Future Shop
- Bureau en Gros (Also called Staples)
- McDonald's
- Wendy's
- Tim Hortons
- Maxi, a grocery store
- and others.
Lachenaie has a locally famous restaurant, the "Bourgeois Burger", renown for its poutine, that is next to a mini-golf circuit.
