Though the picture is subject to probable copyright, it is being used here under the guidelines of "fair use" laws to illustrate the subject(s) of this specific article as its inclusion adds significantly to the article.
The image is of the Langston Hughes house in Harlem, New York City. The steps leading up to the two front doors are painted green. In front of the steps is a trash can. There is a white banister identifying the brownstone as Hughes' place of residence.
