Personally I think Loud's incorrect, and that he was in fact obnoxious & grating at the time; there are several long unedited takes which don't allow for much filmic hocus pocus. But whatever. Pity about the drug addiction. Koyaanis Qatsi
- People in articles will say that Lance came out of the closet on the show, but episode 2 is the one they refer to in saying it, and he never did say "Mom, Dad, I'm gay." Taking his mother to a drag show is a clue, but his mother says the family knew for awhile, so really the only people he "came out" to were the viewers, and he never said it outright, so I think the scholars are mistaken in their terminology.
