Why isn't the title of this article Pinedale Glaciation...maybe a merge is necessary?--MONGO 18:20, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
- Interesting, I've never seen that name used in the paleoclimatic or paleoecologic literature. You only get a handful of hits for it on Google UK; maybe it's only used widely in the US (or perhaps the UK is perculiar). Must admit, it makes sense to give it a name that won't be out of date by the next glacial maximum ;-) but LGM appears to be the more accepted term at the moment.
