Lawrence Jerrold Gluck

Lawrence Jerrold Gluck, more commonly known as Larry Gluck. Born April 9, 1931 (Queens, New York). Gluck is an artist and author, known for his artwork, teaching method, and more recently, his ties to the Church of Scientology. Gluck is known for developing The Gluck Method of fine art instruction, the purpose of which is to teach fine art skills to any level artist.

In 1975 he founded the first Mission: Renaissance private art studio in Los Angeles, California, which is part of the World Institute of Scientology Enterprises. As with other World Institute of Scientology Enterprises run companies, there is considerable controversy surrounding his use of the Mission: Renaissance schools to recruit employees into Scientology. Larry Gluck was one of the top 75 net gainers in Scientologist and Earthlink founder Reed Slatkin's infamous Ponzi Scheme, earning over $2,000,000 from the scheme.
