Lawyer Milloy (born November 14, 1973 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American football strong safety who currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL. He attended the University of Washington and was drafted in 1996 by the New England Patriots. Milloy was a member of the Patriots Super Bowl XXXVI championship team; a game in which the Patriots defeated the heavily-favored St. Louis Rams. After failing to renegotiate his contract, he was released by the Patriots days before the opening game of the 2003 season and was subsequently signed by the Buffalo Bills.
Milloy was released by the Bills on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 in a salary cap related move. He subsequently signed a three-year, $6 million dollar contract with the Atlanta Falcons.
Milloy is a four-time Pro-Bowler.
