Talk:Layforce
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This ‘Layforce’ page has the same data as on the Commandos page plus yet another eulogy for Sterling and the SAS which already have their own pages? Is there anything going to be actually written about Layforce and its other 2000+ members? CVA
I added "was a light military force" to the first sentence because on the first read I had no idea what was being discussed. Apologies if "light" is the incorrect term... --Bookandcoffee 19:54, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
I have added some more, brief facts and explanations on this page drawn from one of the British demi-official histories 'Special Forces in the desert war 1940-1943' by Wynter, plus other official British sources. It is still a seriously inadequate and misleading piece. 81.19.57.130 14:50, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WP:MILHIST Assessment
What country did this force fight for? I seriously can't tell from the article. It may be implied, but it needs to be stated explicitly, preferably in the first sentence. LordAmeth 09:13, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
