Category talk:Leaders by coup

The name of this category is confusing. I gather that it means "people who rose to a position of head of state by a coup". Is that correct? I realize it is too verbose to be a better name for the category, but we would do well to add it to the category page as an explanation. Also, are we counting only violent coups, or do bloodless coups (such as 18 Brumaire) count? -- Jmabel | Talk 21:46, August 28, 2005 (UTC)
