Lea Anderson

The founder of the Cholomondeleys and Featherstonehaughs dance companies, she has choreographed over 100 dances with the two companies. She graduated from the Laban Centre and in 1984 created The Cholomondeleys. In 1988 she formed The Featherstonehaughs and at this time they were the only all male dance company in the UK.
In 2002 Lea Anderson was awarded an MBE for her contribution to dance as well as being one of the first post-modern choreographers to be compulsorily studied on the GCSE Dance syllabus.
