The League of Social Democrats (Chinese:社會民主連線) is a radical pro-democratic political organization in Hong Kong. Its purpose is to "take a clear-cut stand to defend the interests of the grassroots"(旗幟鮮明地悍衛基層利益). It is seen as a social democratic party, or a pro-democratic leftist party. Its founding members include 'Long Hair' Leung Kwok-hung. Its founding members also includes some former members of Young Turks faction of the Democratic Party, including Andrew To and lawmaker Albert Chan. Some media have referred to the League as the "Rising Sun of Young Turks".
