- Referring to the former Free City of Lübeck (an independent entity for 711 years), but the link goes to the modern city of Lübeck.
- Referring to Napoleon's France, where the link instead goes to modern France.
- Create redirects: If the article for the correct state does not yet exist, create a redirect to the nearest existing article (if possible) and place {{WPFC|class=Needed}} on the redirect's talk page. Whether or not a redirect has been created, list the wanted article below under "Needed".

Regarding maps: the Paul Magocsi article references "The Origins of the Lems, Slavs of Danubian Provenance: Memorandum to the Peace Conference Concerning Their National Claims (Paris, 1919)" with a "fold out map". This might be a definitive version of the greatest extent of territory claimed by the republic, I can not find a copy. You could claim that the republic actually governed the Lemko-speaking ares of the north slopes of the Carpathians, west of the Dukla Pass and east of the Oslawa River, in the southern parts of the Galician counties of Nowy Sacz, Grybow, and Gorlice.Pustelnik 02:03, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
