Leppington, New South Wales
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Leppington is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located in the City of Liverpool and Camden Council local government areas. The suburb is named after a property that William Cordeaux received in 1821, called Leppington Park.[1]
Leppington has been identified as a major growth centre for Sydney as it lies within two growth corridors. Because of this, the New South Wales State Government has proposed a new South West rail line connecting with the South line at Glenfield.[2] An intermediate station would also be constructed at Edmondson Park.
