Les Aventures de baron de Munchhausen is a French film released in November 1911 based on a book by Gottfried August Bürger. It was one of the last films from early 20th century French filmmaker Georges Méliès. While other filmakers in the early 1910's were moving into new technical areas of filmaking, Les Aventures de baron de Munchhausen exhibits the same styles and processes he was using in the 1890's.
