Lethal Legion
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Lethal Legion is a name used by four fictional supervillain teams in the Marvel Comics universe. They were dedicated to power, profit, and the destruction of the Avengers.
The first Lethal Legion, lead by Grim Reaper, consisted of Living Laser, Man-Ape, Power Man (Erik Josten), and the Swordsman (DuQuesne).
The second Lethal Legion, lead by Count Nefaria, consisted of Living Laser, Power Man (Josten), and Whirlwind.
The third Lethal Legion, again lead by Grim Reaper, consisted of Black Talon, Goliath (Erik Josten), Man-Ape, Nekra, and Ultron.
The fourth Lethal Legion, created by Satannish, consisted of Axe of Violence (a demonically-enhanced Lizzie Borden), Coldsteel (a demonically enhanced Josef Stalin), Cyana (a demonically enhanced Lucrezia Borgia), and Zyklon (a demonically enhanced Heinrich Himmler). Hangman acted as their field commander.
[edit] Alternate versions
In the Mutant X Universe, an alternate version of the Lethal Legion appeared. It's membership consisted of Slapstick, the Gargoyle, Fin Fang Foom (who wears a mask to conceal his identity), a zombie Brother Voodoo, Devil Dinosaur (who in this universe is the older brother of Daimon Hellstrom, and the son of Satan), Moon Boy (wearing the costume of Moon Knight, becoming Moon-Knight-Boy), and Sherry the Showgirl (empowered through the fragment of bloodgem embedded in her navel). The team were killed by the Beyonder in their first appearance.
