The Amazing Spider-Man: Lethal Foes

The Amazing Spider-Man: Lethal Foes is a Super Famicom action game starring Spider-Man and the Human Torch as they fight crime in New York City. Familiar bad guys run amok as the player runs and jumps his way through and underneath Manhattan. The entire game is in Japanese, and has Dr. Octopus, the Rhino, and other villains from the Spiderman TV show and comic book.
There is an option mode where the player can choose to have up to 7 lives and either a practice game, an easy game, a normal game, or a difficult game. The music is fast paced and is typical of a boy-oriented cartoon with lots of fantasy violence action and peril all around the player. One of the drawbacks is that the time limit is strict and the player loses a life when the time runs out. If the player looks at this in a positive way, this factor will force his to finish the stage as fast as he can instead of savoring the lush 16-bit urban background.
