Levent Çoker

Levent Çoker (1958) is a Turkish trombonist and composer. He was born in İzmit, Turkey. He studied trombone at Ankara State Conservatory and graduated in 1971. He is a member of İstanbul State Symphonic Orchestra since 1979. He has composed for opera and ballet, and for symphony orchestras and bands, and won several national music contests. He represented Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest as a composer and arranger in 1996 and 1997. His song Dinle got the 3rd place for Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest 1997. It was the best result for Turkey until 2003.
