From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Levi Kreis is an American musician. In addition to being a vocalist, he plays the piano. He appeared in an episode of The Apprentice where one team had to work with him to create and record a song to be played on XM Radio. Songs from his CD One of the Ones have been used in episodes of Days of our Lives and The Young and the Restless. Levi's new album The Gospel According to Levi is currently being shipped out.
Kreis is openly gay, though at a younger age he entered into Exodus for a period of several years; he new refers to their program as "horrible." Kreis' subsequent decision to come forward with his sexuality led to Belmont University expelling him and his Christian record label dropping him. [1] Kreis has written the song "Stained Glass Window" to be used in the film version of Southern Baptist Sissies, a play by Del Shores that Kreis strongly identified with. [2]
He appeared in the 2002 film Frailty.
