Lexovisaurus was a dinosaur from mid-to-Late Jurassic Europe, 165 mya. It was a stegosaur. Its fossils have been found in France and England.
It differed from most stegosaurids: a pair of spikes grew from its front shoulder area. The type specimen, Lexovisaurus durobrivensis, was formalized by Hoffstetter in 1957. The specimen was originally placed in Omosaurus 70 years earlier.
