Lickety-Splat
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lickety-Splat is a 1961 Warner Bros.Looney Tunes theatrical animated short. It features Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner and was made under the supervision of Chuck Jones.
Wile E. Coyote chases Road Runner, but the bird's super-speed rolls up the road, turns a tunnel inside-out, and wrecks a bridge as he puts his would-be predator far behind. The coyote uses roller skis, then tries a giant bow; both attempts send him to the bottom of a canyon. Next, he looses many needle-nosed dart bombs which foil his subsequent attempts with a hammer, a rifle, a boomerang and an anvil.
