Created by Mathias Hansen and Jake Hlafka, illustrated by Sarah Jawhari, LimeJak is a web comic based on the real-life experiences of Mathias Hansen (aka "Lime") and his best friend, Jake Hlafka, whom he often refers to as "Jakkus". The two often parody video games, politics, history, and anything else they find interesting.
[edit] Just About How it Happened
Hansen and Hlafka, 14 and 15 respectively, realised one day, that they had many, many humorous experiences and many more humorous ideas, and that they needed to be shared with the common person. Thus, they decided on writing a web comic, the only way they figured they could vent their peculiarity. Through their efforts, they quickly came to realise-neither had the talent to animate, thus causing their dream to fall short. Pressing on, Hansen looked for anyone and everyone he knew who could draw, and reluctantly claimed "Jakkus and I almost had to make a new friend-and neither of us wanted that!", until realising his friend Sarah could draw and was willing to aid them.
