Limeade
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Limeade is a beverage similar to lemonade, but is made with lime juice or lime flavor(s) instead of those of the lemon. A.G. Barr plc, of Glasgow produce a limeade which is somewhat popular in Scotland and Newman's Own introduced its own brand of limeade in 2004. Most major beverage companies now offer their own brand of limeade, with Minute Maid even introducing a Cherry Limeade drink in response to the popularity of Limeade.
A carbonated version is often made of 7up mixed with the juice of several limes. Sonic Drive-In uses Sprite instead of 7up to create their popular Limeades.
Limeade is also a popular drink in Thailand and Vietnam. It can be drunk as either hot or cold drinks or as lime smoothie.
