[edit] Supersymmetry
Hi Linus: I did give the SuSy article a pretty thorough going-over back in February, but since I am not an expert in the field, I don't consider that to be "attention from an expert". From what I can see, the article is in reasonably good shape right now. -- Xerxes 14:28, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Top quark
That information is correct; the top quark does not hadronize. This fact was first noted in the paper Production and decay properties of ultra-heavy quarks by Bigi, et al. in 1986. They say:
- If the lifetimes [of ultra-heavy quarks] become much shorter than the typical strong interaction time scale ΛQCD−1 ~ 10−23 s, then open-flavor hadrons and quarkonium bound states cannot be formed any more.

[edit] Higgs boson consensus vote
There is currently a vote on the Higgs boson talk page over whether or not to merge the pop culture references article with the main article. I noticed you've previously contributed to the debate, so your vote would be helpful in establishing a consensus (or, perhaps, a vote of "no consensus", in which case the problem will be referred to AfD). Thanks! -DMurphy 21:35, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] (Cars) Tires, not antennae
I'm relatively certain that the cars in Cars generally use their tires as hands, not their antennae. I'm going to change this, but feel free to make a case that I am wrong (if you have one!). Hey, my warranty didn't run out after all! 16:54, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, they used BOTH. -- Jason Palpatine 21:05, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ziocon
Hi Linus, I noticed your comment on the talk page of the Ziocon article. I have nominated it for speedy deletion, because a.) that is not a widely used term and b.) the article is merely an attack page on those who support Israel.--Carabinieri 02:33, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Vandalism
Greetings, everyone,
If you looked at my userpage recently, you may have seen some obscene content. This was vandalism, and I just caught it. Thanks! MacGuy(contact me) 02:39, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 17:36, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you!
Thanks for notifying me about the WikiProject on Open-Source software. I'm glad that my knowledge and abilities can be helpful for others! I'll join it right now. Sub-Z3R0 19:02, February 16, 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Tagging articles
I am just wondering which articles I should tag
and where in the article I should put the tag. Thank You. Sodaplayer talk contributions 04:05, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject: Free Software
Hello, I noticed that you've tagged several articles with the {{WPFS}} template. The template should go on the article's Talk page, not on the main article page. Thanks! -- dcclark (talk) 18:26, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
- I've fixed all the existing cases. RossPatterson 04:17, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Free Software IRC Channel?
I think we should have an IRC chan. It should be on Freenode because Wikipedia uses freenode for IRC chans. I'll register it. It's called #wpfs . Click Here to go to it! Wikinerd2000 13:37, February 17, 2007 (UTC)

- Oh and yeah my nick is [gosub] on freenode! Wikinerd2000 13:38, February 17, 2007 (UTC)

Give me your nick on freenode and i'll give you Auto OP privliages. I got auto voice on my chan because the chans moderated, so if any "uncouth" users do anything... just devoice em for awhile, then temp ban then ban.

Thanks for the notification! I went ahead and joined, and look forward to helping! P3net 05:48, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re:#wpfs
No problemo! You've been added to the chan with access level 49!
[edit] Distinction between Free-Software and Open-Source
Hi Linus -- I'm a little bit particular about the distinctions between the terms "free software" and "open source." I actually come down on the "open source" side of things. Perhaps if you guys are willing to expand your scope and name of the project to "The Free/Open Source Software Project," I'd be more than happy to join. Thanks for the invitation, though. [edit] ccPublisher
There is no article on ccPublisher. "ccPublisher" currently redirects to Creative Commons, and that article has no information about ccPublisher. Gronky 21:34, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- No problem. BTW, I'm glad to see WP:WPFS doing well. It's a necessary project but I never had the time to try starting it myself. I still don't have time to join, as I'm trying to get Portal:Free software to featured status right now, but I'm trying to help WPFS by mentioning it on the portal and on some talk pages relevent to free software. It still hasn't gained enough momentum whereby it would be self sustaining if the current contributors took a break, but hopefully it will get there. (I'm not sure that Portal:Free_software has gotten to that point yet either.) Good luck. Gronky 21:54, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
