The following is an episode list for the MyNetworkTV telenovela American Heiress. This limited-run serial began on March 13, 2007, and is expected to finish in September, 2007. Each two-hour installment airs on Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. for two hours a week.

[edit] Episode 1: Lion King
Original Air Date: 13 March 2007
It all begins with us being introduced to the Wakefield family. It is revealed that the father is planning on leaving his fortune to Elizabeth, which Damien tries to stop by setting up a plane accident. Before Lionel has a chance to get to the airport, he is stopped by Danielle who works for the FBI. She had worked with her fiance in the jungle when the witnessed his company selling weapons to American enemies. Before the two could get away, Danielle's fiance was killed. He brushes her off, but goes to confront Damien about this new information. While telling Damien how dissapointed he is in his son, Lionel has a heart attach that lands him in the hospital. Meanwhile, Elizabeth boarded the plane that is being captained by JD Bruce. They get word that Mr. Wakefield has had a heart attach and they turn the plane around without telling Elizabeth their reasoning in an attempt to keep her calm.
[edit] Episode 2: Crash and Burn

While flying Elizabeth back to see Lionel, the plane crashed in the jungles of Guatemala. The co-pilot is killed on impact while it appears that Elizabeth and JD have survived. Elizabeth pulls JD from the plane and then works on getting her luggage out of the plane. When JD awakes, he instantly worries that they won't be saved for days; while Elizabeth keeps high hopes about being found within days. Back in the hospital, the Wakefield family continues to deal with the condition of their father and the family learns that their daughter's/sister's plane has crashed. With the news that his sister may be dead, Damien requests that they stop searching for Elizabeth. He figures that his plan may work out yet, if his sister has died and his father doesn't make it through surgery.

Elizabeth and JD continue to fight on the island while slowly growing closer. She almost drowns while bathing, but is saved by JD who was watching her. An unknowing JD and Elizabeth are in danger of being attached by the locals in Guatemala who have discovered part of the plane that they crashed in. Lionel lives through surgery and is then almost killed by Damien who tells him of his daughters supposed death and sends him into cardiac arrest. The episode ends with the appearance of the Wakefield children's mother who was thought to be dead.
[edit] Episode 4: Lions and Tigers and Bears

Danielle confronts Damian about his involvement in the guns that she had seen with his family's company name branded on the side of the transport box. Later Danielle goes home and discovers a cracked porcelain doll that has a message attached that has been left by Damian. In the jungle, Elizabeth and JD begin to form a friendship shared over run covered banana's made by Elizabeth. The two sleep at the same camp. While they are asleep, the locals are getting closer and are looking to kidnap Elizabeth and hold her for ransom. Finally, in the hospital Jordan is causing trouble with all of her children. We are shown a glimpse of the past where Jordan wanted to be in her children's lives, but Lionel told her to leave and don't come back. Most of the Wakefield children don't remember Jordan and only have memories told by their father. He told the children that their mother had an affair and she left to Europe (which is true).
