Microsoft Internet Information Services — proprietary, Windows only, included in most versions of windows equal to or greater NT3.51. IIS is however not included in Windows XP Home nor the 9x series (including ME). It is highly incompatible with many clients, as it seems it uses a non-compliant version of the FTP protocol, or even the inferior and less supported TFTP^{[citation needed]}. Security is also somewhat questionable, regarding the use of its own implementation of SSL/TLS. (Microsoft has no support for FTP over SSL on neither server nor client side on any of its products.)
