The following codes are used with International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems.
- A and B: ICD-10 Chapter I: Certain infectious and parasitic diseases
- C and D: ICD-10 Chapter II: Neoplasms; Chapter III: Diseases of the blood and blood-forming organs, and certain disorders involving the immune mechanism
- E: ICD-10 Chapter IV: Endocrine, nutritional and metabolic diseases
- F: ICD-10 Chapter V: Mental and behavioural disorders
- G: ICD-10 Chapter VI: Diseases of the nervous system
- H: ICD-10 Chapter VII: Diseases of the eye, adnexa; Chapter VIII: ear, and mastoid process
- I: ICD-10 Chapter IX: Diseases of the circulatory system
- J: ICD-10 Chapter X: Diseases of the respiratory system
- K: ICD-10 Chapter XI: Diseases of the digestive system
- L: ICD-10 Chapter XII: Diseases of the skin and subcutaneous tissue
- M: ICD-10 Chapter XIII: Diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue
- N: ICD-10 Chapter XIV: Diseases of the genitourinary system
- O: ICD-10 Chapter XV: Pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium
- P: ICD-10 Chapter XVI: Certain conditions originating in the perinatal period
