- USS Enterprise (CVN-65): 93,500 ton nuclear-powered supercarrier, commissioned 25 November 1961. First nuclear-powered aircraft carrier. Due for decommissioning in 2014-2015.
- USS Nimitz (CVN-68): 104,000 ton Nimitz-class nuclear-powered supercarrier in active service, commissioned 3 May 1975.
