- 2 CBS Corporation agreed to sell WUPL to Belo Corporation in 2005, but the transaction was delayed and CBS pursued legal action against Belo for reneging on the agreement. [2] On February 26, 2007, Belo announced it would go ahead with the purchase to settle the litigation. [3]
- 3 On February 13, 2007, CBS Corporation announced the sale of WFRV to Liberty Media Corporation, as part of a stock-swap transaction. [4]
