[edit] Notes
- ^ Terminator 3 grossed $433 million worldwide; assuming 20 % of $53 million, Schwarzenegger made at least an extra $10.6 million on the film's theatrical release.
- ^ I, Robot - with combined production, marketing and distribution costs of $147 million - grossed $346.7 million at the worldwide box office. With 40 % of the gross returned to the studio, the film made a small loss of $8.3 million before DVD and TV put it in the black .
- ^ Although Anger Management grossed $195.7 million worldwide, only about 40 % of that gross would be returned to the studio. Deducting production costs of $56 million and prints & advertising costs of $35 million, the film actually made a $12.7 million loss before video and TV licensing.
- ^ Goldmember grossed $292.7 million worldwide, leaving about $117 million in rentals. With production costs of $63 million and prints & advertising costs of $50 million, the film only made $4.1 million at the box office.
- ^ K-19 - with a combined cost of $135 million - earned only $65.7 million worldwide, so probably did not pass its cash breakeven point.
- ^ Vanilla Sky grossed $202.7 million and cost altogether $100 million resulting in a small loss of around $19 million at the box office.
- ^ Nutty Professor II made $161.6 million but cost $119 million leaving a loss of $54.4 million before DVD and TV.

- ^ A box office smash, Mr. & Mrs. Smith made $468.3 million worldwide; even with costs of $150 million the studio made $37.3 million.
- ^ Jerry Maguire earned $274 million with costs of $85 million leaving the studio with $24.6 million.
