Political parties in Zambia lists a number of the more notable political parties in Zambia. Zambia is a one party dominant state with the Movement for Multiparty Democracy in power. Opposition parties are allowed and do have some significant representation in government, but are widely considered to have no real chance of gaining the presidency or a majority in parliament.
