[edit] Update following Category:Worldcon GoH cfd debate
I created a table to allow inclusion of additional data, including the GoHs, following the debate about the category for Worldcon GoH's. It will take a few days to complete the table contents. VJDocherty 08:08, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- The list has now been updated. Many thanks to Wwoods and Shsilver for their invaluable contributions. VJDocherty 16:10, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
I've replaced all those redirects to stubs. —wwoods 19:49, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Now it behooves us to create articles for all the Worldcon GoHs, TAFF winners, Eastercon GoHs, etc. who don't already have articles! --Orange Mike 22:26, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- I tend to agree, (assuming of course that those criteria are sufficient evidence of notability, in Wikipedia terms). Happy to help. I have also tried to clarify the names where they were pointing to the wrong person, plus created a few of the entries already (Weston, Pickersgill, Ford....). VJDocherty 11:00, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- The 'missing' names are: Tom Whitmore, Takumi & Sachiko Shibano, Lars-Olov Strandberg, Jack Speer, John Trimble, Bob Passovoy, Bruce Gillespie, Roy Tackett, Les Edwards, Robert Runte, Jon & Joni Stopa, Stranger Club, Roger Sims, Joyce & Ken Slater, Dick Eney, Bruce Pelz, Robert Madle, Jay Kay Klein, Mike Glicksohn, Elliott K Shorter, Walter J. Daugherty, John Berry.
I will create entries for Whitmore, Strandberg, Edwards, Slaters, Pelz, perhaps the Shibanos, but the others I'm not familiar enough with. VJDocherty 11:23, 16 March 2007 (UTC)- I would express the opinion that Bjo and John Trimble were invited as GoHs together and could probably be represented with a single link. I'll work on a stub entry for Glicksohn. Avt tor 16:17, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- Good idea. I have merged the Trimble entries. Also Passovoys, with same logic. VJDocherty 08:35, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
