- There is clear definition on the to of the page: "The battles on this page are organized by country, that is, by the present location of the battlefield, not by the countries which participated in the battle." I corrected the list according to the definition. What is wrong?
- A lot of mistakes are still there, however. I find it senselessly to correct them in such a hostile environment. Anyway everything will be reverted by a well known group of people. Hopefully the arbitration commity will pay attention to such facts.--AndriyK 10:35, 25 November 2005 (UTC)

- Anyway, IMO this article is dead-born. There are already hundreds of battles in wikipedia, and thousands to go, so this list is doomed to be hoplessly incomplete. Well, whatever. mikka (t) 07:06, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

As an Australian I can tell you that Australia has never had a land battle for our very short history, so their is no need to have a Australia section in this list Aussie King Pin 22:21, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
