Are these two characters actually "contract" rather than recurring? Has it been confirmed? and is Jay recurring rather than contract? How long are they staying for? I do admit that this is not like American soaps where they formally announce the status of each actor on the show (contract or recurring) in the magazines.

BTW, is Lydia's name confirmed as Esteller in the magazines? Not to be rude or anything, it does not seem to be a proper English last name if you know what I mean. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.12.244.85 (talk • contribs) 25 December 2006, 18:08 (UTC).

Rhys said it, so we don't know how it's spelt or if the actor mispronounced it; so we'll use the website as the source of her surname, as "Asler" and "Esteller" sound similar. -Trampikey^{(talk)(contribs)} 00:45, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

They are in the order in which they joined the show - fairly obvious when you look at the top of the list :-) Stephenb (Talk) 13:53, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Is Jean going to be a regular character starting this week as under Characters "J" where they added the profile for Jay, it looks like they are already building a profile for Jean.
