Talk:List of places in Buckinghamshire

Please add this template to all villages/towns/cities:
I have been adding it to as many as possible, but as only ~5% of the pages have actually been made it is too big a task for me to do all of them.
- Grid reference, post code, lat/long can be found at http://www.multimap.com/
- Population and dwellings are found at http://www.buckscc.gov.uk/index.asp
please link to the 2001 census in 'external links' thanks

[edit] Places not in Buckinghamshire
I don't think we should mix the places which aren't in Buckinghamshire with places which are in Buckinghamshire. The places which aren't in Buckinghamshire should be clearly marked by putting them in a separate section. -- Joolz 22:00, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I agree, SqueakBox 22:03, Jun 26, 2005 (UTC)

- Whichever. They're all in one together because that's how I created it when they were just a part of the Buckinghamshire article. Would you just split them off into Bucks and not Bucks or would you further divide the second section into where the places are now? -- Francs2000 | Talk

- I have just put all the ex Bucks places in one section for now but which counties these places are now are could be a welcome addition, SqueakBox July 1, 2005 03:44 (UTC)
What about places that are in Bucks now but weren't always? E.g. Coleshill was once in Herts.
- That's not going to be a huge list. -- Roleplayer 13:33, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Places no longer administered by Buckinghamshire County Council
Why are Slough and Milton Keynes in the same category? This way of presenting places in unitary authorities mixed with places affected by boundary changes is problematic. The distinction between the two is lost. Mrsteviec 08:33, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
