Little Big Town is an American country music band. Formed in 1999, the band has four members: Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Roads, Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet. There is no lead singer in the band; instead, vocal duties are shared equally among the four members of the group. This unusual arrangement is most noticeable in the quartet's signature song "Boondocks".
Little Big Town's self-titled 2002 debut for Sony's Monument Records was panned critically and did not sell commercially. The album had two minor singles on it and, eventually, the group was dropped from the label. After losing their record deal, the band members worked in telemarketing for a brief period to make ends meet.
Little Big Town resurfaced on Clint Black's Equity Music Group label in 2005 and, on October 4, 2005, released their second album, The Road to Here. The group's sophomore album produced Little Big Town's first Top 10 country hit with "Boondocks", while the follow-up single, "Bring It On Home", gave the group its first Top 5.
The group received two Grammy nominations, highlighting an eventful 2006. Over Thanksgiving weekend Roads, whose first husband died of a heart attack at age 41, remarried on an island in the Carribbean. She is now expecting a baby with her second husband. [1]
The quartet said, in December 2006, that they were writing material for a new album that should be out in the fall of 2007.

- LBT sang the song "We Go Together" on the soundtrack for the direct-to-video movie The Fox and the Hound 2.
- In a secret wedding in 2006, Karen Fairchild married fellow band member Jimi Westbrook.[1]
- They performed on CMT's Crossroads with former Fleetwood Mac band member Lindsey Buckingham on December 2, 2006. During the show Karen admitted to Lindsey that they tried to model Little Big Town (LBT) after Fleetwood Mac. In fact, LBT's single "Good As Gone" was written in the same manner and tension as was Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way", which was also the last song performed on Crossroads.
