[edit] Welcome
Hello, Little Bird, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! --Kralizec! [edit] Please use edit summaries
Hello. Please be courteous to other editors and use edit summaries when updating articles. The Mathbot tool shows your usage of edit summaries to be nonexistent:
- Edit summary usage for Little Bird: 0% for major edits and 0% for minor edits. Based on the last 59 major and 1 minor edits in the article namespace.
Using edit summaries helps other editors quickly understand your edits, which is especially useful when you make changes to articles that are on others' watchlists. Thanks and happy editing! --Kralizec! (talk) 19:22, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Enayatullah Enayat
Little Bird, thanks for creating the article on Enayatullah Enayat. I've worked for a long time creating articles about Afghanistan. If Afghanistan is a subject you're interested in working on, I have created Wikipedia:Requested articles/Afghanistan. Cheers! Kingturtle 13:39, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mumia Abu Jamal
I reverted your edits because they were clear POV violations on an article that is already very dicey. The very fact that you linked to a Daniel Faulkner support site should be explanation enough. I don't disagree with you that Mumia is a scumbag and guilty as hell (you'll notice I added him to the "People who have murdered police officers" category I created), but that's merely my opinion, and has no place in a Wikipedia article. Really? I think the intro is about the only balanced thing in the article. Ford MF 06:07, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
p.s. please sign your comments using four tildes (~~~~)
[edit] Please sign your posts
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! KillerChihuahua?!? 15:22, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
